BARRIE- CTS Canadian Career College is pleased to announce that
the dates for our next A-EMCA

ONTARIO - CTS Canadian Career College is committed to enhancing
our college curriculum and therefore has applied to the Canadian
Medical Association for additional accreditation for our Paramedic
Program. We are pleased that we have been accepted within the
process as established by their guidelines. We are very pleased
to announce that Ms. Mary Beth Gibbons has accepted the position
of CMA Accreditation Team Leader.
Mary Beth has been involved in EMS for the past 24 years. Her
career in Emergency Services began after she completed the EMCA
program at Cambrian College. She has clinical experience in both
land and air ambulance services as a clinician, educator, and/or
manager in both New Brunswick and Ontario. Her professional roles
have included the Manager - Education Services Department and
Manager - Advanced Care Rotary Wing Program with the Ontario Air
Ambulance Base Hospital Program; President - Paramedic Association
of Canada and Project Director - National Occupational Competency
Profiles Project. Prior to joining the City of Greater Sudbury
Emergency Services, she had been providing consultant services
to the Emergency Health Services – Province of Manitoba,
Sunnybrook Base Hospital Program (Fire), and the Winnipeg Fire
Paramedic Service. As well, she was the Vice Chair of the Committee
on Conjoint Accreditation with the Canadian Medical Association
for two terms.
Mary Beth joins us from the City of Greater Sudbury where she
holds the portfolio of Director of Strategic Support Services
with Infrastructure and Emergency Services. In addition to clinical
credentials as a Paramedic and Registered Nurse, she holds Master’s
degree in Leadership and Training.
She will be working on the CMA Accreditation Project out of Sudbury,
but you will no doubt see her in the other Campuses from time
to time. Please join me in welcoming her to our Organization.

ONTARIO - Results indicate our last THREE graduating Primary
Care Paramedic classes have received 100% passing rate with
the Fall 2006 Ontario A-EMCA exams, a feat rarely accomplished
in this industry. Congratulations everyone!!!

NORTH BAY - We are thrilled to announce Phyllis Anderson is now
our Executive Director. Phyllis has been with the college for
many years and brings a wealth of management and business experience.
BARRIE - CTS Canadian Career College is please to welcome Dean
Charran, MSc, P.Eng. as our new Barrie Campus Director. Dean bring
years of experience within the private school system.
We also wish Diane Kidson Barrie's former Campus Director all
the best in her retirement. The campus will miss you.

ALL CAMPUSES- CTS Canadian Career College is pleased to announce
the approval of two new programs at each of the Campuses.
The private college will now be offering a Medical Office Administrator
diploma program, and a Financial Services Administrator diploma
program beginning in the month of November 2004.

SUDBURY- Here we grow again! We have grown into a new larger
campus in our Sudbury location. The new facilities include custom
made Pharmacy Tech and Primary Care Paramedic classrooms. The
building also includes student residences.
Barrie - CTS Canadian Career College is pleased to announce the
opening of our third campus. We have expanded our service area
